Terms and Conditions

SaldoApp is a personal finance tool to record and organize your income, expenses, accounts and budgets, with educational content about finance and stewardship (the wise management of what has been entrusted to us).

SaldoApp is not a bank, a supervised financial institution, an investment platform or a provider of regulated financial services. It does not move money and does not connect to your bank accounts.

It is intended for individuals 16 years of age or older, with the legal capacity to accept these Terms or with the authorization of their legal representative.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the App on your devices to manage your personal finances, also subject to the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play.

You may not: use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes; access systems or data that are not yours to access; interfere with its security or operation (including mass scraping of the site or introducing malicious code); or decompile, modify, distribute or commercially exploit the App, except as the law expressly permits.

The balances, totals, charts and projections SaldoApp shows are calculated from what you record; they do not verify your actual balances at banks or other institutions. You are responsible for making sure that information is correct and up to date.

Exchange rates come from external sources, may differ from those of banks or currency exchanges, and are for reference only. Calculations and projections are informational, may contain errors and do not guarantee future results.

The articles, insights and suggestions are educational and general: they do not constitute financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, nor a personalized recommendation. The stewardship principles we share are an educational perspective and do not guarantee any financial outcome. Decisions about your money are yours; for important decisions, consult a professional.

The software, design, brand, texts and other content of SaldoApp (including the blog articles) belong to SaldoApp or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights over them to you.

You may share links to our content, but you may not republish it as your own or use it to train artificial intelligence models without prior written authorization, except as the law permits.

The financial information you record is yours and is stored only on your device; we do not have a copy of it. Therefore, if you uninstall the App, or lose, reset or damage your device, your data may be permanently lost and we will not be able to recover it. You are responsible for your device and for backing up your information.

You can delete your data from the App at any time. How we treat the personal data we do receive is set out in the Privacy Policy.

We work to make the Service run well, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. We may update, modify or withdraw features, and limit or suspend access to protect the security of the Service, comply with the law or enforce these Terms.

Today the Service is free and does not require an account. If in the future we add accounts, syncing, artificial intelligence features or paid plans, we will tell you their conditions before and, if they involve processing your data in a different way, we will update the Privacy Policy and ask for your authorization where appropriate. Nothing that is free today will be charged to you without your express acceptance.

The Service depends on third parties (app stores, information sources, technical providers) that operate under their own terms. We do not control their availability or the content of their sites.

We offer the Service "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaldoApp is not liable for decisions you make based on the Service, for incorrectly entered data, for the loss of data stored on your device, or for failures of your device, your connection or third-party services.

Nothing in this excludes liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the non-waivable rights the law grants you as a consumer.

We may update these Terms. We will publish the current version with its date and, if the change is significant, we will notify you in the App or on the site. If you do not agree with a change, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia and the competent courts of Colombia, without prejudice to consumers' rights under the applicable mandatory rules.
